Reinvigorate Results On Email And Organic Social For A Leading Bike Pannier Brand!

Challenge

Knowing Arkel is already extremely well-established in the cycling and bike adventure community, finding new, unique ways to present the products that incentivize purchasing. Unable to create content through Q2, we had to find a way to make Ambassador assets work and curate a social/email feed using exclusively static images knowing video would likely provide a more substantial lift.

Solution

After meeting the Arkel team, we understood the passion shared by the brand itself and its loyal customers. We knew we were selling more than a bag, or a pannier; we were selling a lifestyle. By planning the social feed around each customer segment (bike packing, touring, commuting, etc.) and including well thought out, authentic captions, we were able to curate a diverse and engaging feed. For Email, we established a clear schedule that revolved around customer segments and promotions with strong hero images to help engage, entice and ultimately, encourage the recipient to visit the website.

by building a content calendar separated by customer segment containing carefully selected images and consistently engaging with followers, we cover all bases and maintain interest.

Graphic Creatives

without the ability to create net new videos and photo assets, we find a way to spruce up existing assets with graphics highlighting the product’s features and selling points.

Email Strategy

with strong hero images, high converting copy and compelling offers, we send out emails on the same day, every week to establish a consistent schedule that yields results.

Monthly Meetings

on a monthly, sometimes bi-weekly basis, we take time with the Arkel team to review Email strategy as well as the Content Calendar and any potential upcoming promotions.
